Abstract:

INTRODUCTION The injuries problem causes the need for verification of etiology and epidemiology, especially concerning CNS injuries. There is a new etiological factor in pathology of TBI of under-age people-alcohol.AIM OF THE STUDY Evaluation the severity of the course of TBI for the age group between 9-18 years old, under influence of alcohol, as well as an attempt to draw up a procedural algorithm.MATERIAL AND METHOD The patients 9-18 years old who had sustained TBI associated with the consumption of alcohol and without it, treated from XI.2007 to XII.2010. The study group 49, control group 62 patients. Clinical and control examination with the elements of the cohort study was conducted.
