The paper focuses on selected aspects of outcomes of crisis intervention, aiming to establish whether persons undergoing crisis intervention solved the crisis problems and whether they achieved a positive change in their coping style, such that would minimize the risk of the occurrence of another crisis. The research centred on the influence of the features of the critical event, personality features and crisis intervention on the expected outcomes: resolving the crisis and coping after the intervention. The results were evaluated from the perspective of the persons undergoing the intervention. Follow-up research was conducted on a group of 191 individuals receiving crisis intervention 6-48 months before. The research results suggest that crisis intervention has indeed influenced crisis resolution and has improved the ability to cope with stress situations in the individuals who underwent it. Satisfaction with the intervention turned out to be the predictor of crisis resolution. As for improvement in coping ability, the type of assistance received was significant. The key aspects turned out to be: abreaction, assistance in understanding oneself and m undergoing a change, supplying information about possible crisis resolution methods, assistance in crisis resolution and legal assistance. Significant correlations were also found between the occurrence of both outcomes and person ; ality features: an evasive coping style (seeking out social contacts) and the sense of coherence. It was also found that the results were not only stable with the passing of time, but an improvement was noticeable.
