Metabolic syndrome is a group of factors which increase the risk of atherosclerosis, diabetes type 2 and cardiac vascular complications. Adiponectine and leptine are two adipoquins which are related with metabolic syndrom and angiogenesis regulation. The adiponectine hinders growing of the atherosclerosis plate, preventing angiogenesis. Leptine has a good effect on angiogenesis and stimulates growing of atherosclerosis plate, is related with the arterial hypertension in metabolic syndrome. Disorders in the sight organ during metabolic syndrom means the development of microangiopathy and pathological neovascularization. The aim of research was to define the correlation between the adiponectine and leptine concentration and the level of metabolic sydrom and the changes in the eye bottom. Men aged from 40 to 60 were included in the research. 35 persons were a control group. 21 healthy without metabolic syndrom and without vessel changes at the eye bottom and 14 without metabolic syndrom and without vessel changes at the eye bottom but suffering from diabetes type 2. The second group consisted of 41 patients. In the first there were 21 with metabolic syndrom without changes at the eye bottom, the second included 20 patients with metabolic syndrom and with the changes at the eye bottom. It has not been confirmed to be related a higher leptine and adiponectine value and tipical for di ; abetes changes in vessels at the eye bottom. However it was observed that there is a correlation of hyperleptinemia with artery hypertension symptoms and tipical vessel changes in metabolic syndrom. The metabolic syndrom patients with vessel changes at the eye bottom had stronger hypertension changes, but diabetes changes were medium.
