Abstract:
The aim of present research was evaluation of objective and subjective impact on the course of spa treatment for the quality of life style in hepatitis C. The study included 180 patients' infected with HCV, chosen deliberately, with a confirmed diagnosis of infection by serology and molecular methods. In order to accomplish our goal all bathers in the study were physically examined twice (medical examination) and biochemically before and at the end of the spa treatment. Patient characteristics were based on medical records including information cards from previous hospital stays, application forms NFZ underlying referral for treatment, which was founded in the spa and medical histories and spa - physical treatments card orders. For the evaluation of the subjective effects of spa therapy, patients used a specially prepared questionnaire. Evaluation of spa therapeutic efficacy of treatments was made. In the group of respondents they said the maximum number of points of patients highly rated the chance to relax in the spa conditions, including : dietary treatments, contact with doctors, contact with other patients. Maximum score of treatment medicinal waters the respondents admitted. In the evaluation of patients all the basie elements of spa treatment, had an impact on the effect of rehabilitation. The vast majority of respondents assessed the effect of the t ; reatment, as a positive.
