The aim of the study is to verify the possibility of closing the oro – antral communications (PUZ) with autogenous platelet rich fibrin (PRF) and assessing whether the method is more favorable in terms of postoperative complications and implant-prosthetic treatment compared to the Wassmund-Borusiewicz method. Prospective studies were conducted in 42 patients with diagnosed PUZ. There were 19 women and 23 men, 21 people in each group (PRF, W-B). The groups did not differ in age and gender distribution. Before the procedure and 3 months after, the face, the oral vestibular depth, and width of the keratinized gingivae were measured. Up to 12 hours after, patients rated pain on the VAS and NRS scale. After surgery on 24h, 48h and 7th day, the swollen buccae, the oral vestibular depth, the keratinized gingivae and the tightness of the closure PUZ, and postoperative complications. On the 7th day and 3 months after the procedure, the symptom of cheek muscle pulling were examined. Closing of PUZ proved to be possible and more beneficial for the patient than closing of PUZ by the method of Wassmund Borusiewicz. Research and analysis of the results allows the following conclusions: 1. Closing of PUZ with the use of platelet-rich fibrin is a procedure free of complications such as pain, swollen buccae and anatomical changes in the operated area. 2. Closure of PUZ autogenic PRF is a s ; imple procedure. It can be performed by dentists, which will prevent postponing the procedure as a result of directing the patient to the dental surgery office. 3. The PRF used is an autogenic material free from defects, biomaterials and synthetic materials.
