Anthropometric measurements (measurement of weight, height, body composition and measurements of waist and hips) among the respondents were also performed. Place of residence and gender affect the consumption of energy drinks. Both the frequency of consumption and the amount of consumed energy drinks affect the selected anthropometric characteristics of the study population: body weight, waist circumference, BMI, WHR and WHtR. Youth differed significantly in the frequency of consumption of energy drin ; ks during some activities. Consumption of energy drinks in the population of Malopolska is associated with the consumption of drugs such as cigarette smoking and the frequency of physical training is related to the amount of consumtion of energy drinks in this group.
