This is analysis of results of treatment of 223 patients with DLBCL, treated immunochemotherapy R-CHOP as first-line treatment in the Hematology Department of Jagiellonian University in Krakow, in terms of intensity treatment. After treatment, 150 (67.26%) patients had complete remission CR, 62 (27.80%) partial remission PR, 3 (1.35%) patients stabilization of the SD process. The progression of the process was observed in 7 patients with PD (3.14%) and death in 1 patient (0.45%). Calculated ARDI for all patients, the patients were divided into three groups of 0-80%, 80-90%, 90-100%, to give a statistically significant difference in PFS. It confirmed in multivariate analysis of variance that ARDI is independent of the IPI factor. Influence of the ARDI to the PFS is visible both in the group of patients where it has been reducted below 80%, and patients whose chemotherapy intensity was reduced by only 10-20%. ARDI decrease was associated mainly with the long time interval between cycles (n = 110, 49.32%) than doses reducing of cytostatics in particular cycles (n = 44, 19.73%).
