Abstract:

The Aim of the study: 1. Comparative analysis of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and HIV-positive regarding the features of a personal - temperament and level of acceptance of the disease in the dimension of emotional and behavioral manifestation of adaptation. 2. Analysis of the relationship between the state and the clinical subject’s psychological indicators of disease in both groups of HIV and clinical IBD. 3. Determination in the entire study group of chronically diseased people of personal-clinical characteristics according to the style of adaptation.Method: The study included 160 patients with a diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease (80 patients) and HIV infection (80 patientsThe subjected patients with IBD and HIV differ in dimensions of personality, temperament and acceptance of behavioral dimension, expressed in the use of health behaviors.In the assessment of psychological functioning and style adaptation of patients with chronic disease distinguisted groups: poorly adapted, behavioral adapted way and emotional adaptive waySpecific style adaptation and psychological characteristics and clinical indicators allows for a better understanding of the activity undertaken by the patients in-hospital and post-hospital recovery.
