Title: The assessment of the influence of selected genes' polymorphisms of the renin-angiotensin system, the nitric oxide synthase and the rs7579169 polymorphism of the INHBB gene on the course of pre-eclampsia and gestational hypertension and the condition of newborns


In the group of 75 pregnant women with gestational hypertension and preeclampsia, the effect of polymorphisms of the renin-angiotensin system (I / D ACE gene, M235T and T174M AGT gene, a gene A1166C AT1R and AT2R gene A1675G), nitric oxide synthase (eNOS gene Glu298Asp) and polymorphism INHBB gene rs7579169 on the course of pregnancy and neonatal state were studied. The results were compared with a group of 104 pregnant women with normal pregnancy. It was found that the CC genotype polymorphism AGT M235T gene increases the risk of gestational hypertension, CT genotype of rs7579169 polymorphism INHBB increases the risk of pre-eclampsia. Genotype ID I / D polymorphism of the ACE gene and genotype AC AT1R gene A1166C polymorphism and homozygous TT INHBB rs7579169 polymorphism is associated with the risk of birth of children with lower birth weight. Carriers of one or two C alleles of rs7579169 polymorphism INHBB gene were associated with less weight gain in pregnant women. GG alleles carriers of the gene AT2R A1675G polymorphism were associated with lower mean BMI of the mother in late pregnancy. The occurrence of DD homozygotes I / D polymorphism of the ACE gene and at least one C allele polymorphism of AT1R A1166C gene were also associated with a shorter average duration of pregnancy.
