Abstrakt:

The aim of this research was to study the difference between the incidence of allergic symptoms and diseases in children in 1988 and 1999 in Starachowice and evaluation of the influence of the some environmental factors on the incidence of the allergy. In 1999, 158 children, 9 years old were studied. The comparison was done with the results of the research from 1988, when 408 children were studied, from the same schools as in 1999. Diagnoses of allergic symptoms and diseases were obtained from questionnaires, based on ISAAC questionnaire, including questions about health of the child and environmental factors. Skin prick tests of the six most popular aero allergens were made. The data concerning air pollution in 1985- 2000 in Starachowice were obtain from Sanitary- Epidemiological Institution in Kielce.
