The work is based on the collected results of a diagnostic survey conducted in the next 5 years from 2011 among physicians during their specialization participating in the "Public Health" courses. The survey covered a group of 563 physicians who agreed to participate in the study. A detailed verification of the research hypotheses was carried out. The chi-square statistical method was used for verification, based on which the dependence of each research problem on the socio-demographic data of the respondents was assessed. Individual answers were assigned point values in accordance with the Likert scale and a rank analysis was performed. Friedman's analysis of variance (Friedman's ANOVA test) was used for selected topics. In order to clearly illustrate the analysis, when discussing the results, the presentation of data in graphs was abandoned. Participants of the study identified barriers to the implementation of e-health systems primarily in the too low level of financing services and the lack of technical infrastructure. Physicians are convinced of the value of development and efficient implementation of full functionality of e-health systems.
