Both natura! xanthone derivatives and their synthetic analogs have anti-inflammatory properties. This study aimed to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of zinc derivatives of xantonylooxyalkanoic acid. The effect of the tested compolmds on the inhibition of edema and nociceptive reaction in animals was evaluated. In .addition, the effect of the tested compounds on antioxidant activity, the level of proteins, and proinflammatory genes in cell models were determined. In an experiment conducted on rats, the antiinflammatory activity of the tested compounds was demonstrated. At the same time, gastrotoxicity has not been demonstrated, unlike the widely used NSAIDs. The study of analgesic activity in the formalin model did not confirm the anti-inflammatory activity of zinc derivatives. Experiments conducted on cell lines confirmed the anti-inflammatory activity of the tested compounds. In addition, the results clearly indicate the high antioxidant potentia! of zmc derivatives of xantony looxyalkanoic acid. A wide range of research conducted to find new antiinflammatory drugs that do not cause side eff ects suggests that zinc derivatives of xantonylooxyalkanoic acids should be the subject of further pharmacological research.}, title={Evaluation of anti-inflammatory activity of zinc derivatives of xanthonyloxyalkanoic acids}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={xanthone derivatives, zmc, anti-inflammatory activity}, }
