Firstly, it was proved that the origin of donor cells used for reprogramming affected the properties of the generated iPSCs and their potential to differentiate into dopaminergic neurons. The further results showed that there are no differences between a healthy donor and a patient with idiopathic PD in basic features of the generated iPSCs. During organoid generation, we observed the effects of donor cells from the patients with idiopathic PD on the created model. Research enabled to select several genes that may be responsible for the development of this disease. This thesis describes for the first time 3D organoid model of idiopathic PD, which offers great opportunities for further studies.}, title={Dissecting pathomechanisms of idiopathic form of Parkinson’s disease using induced pluripotent stem cells technology}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={iPS cells, Parkinson’s disease, differentiation, dopaminergic neurons, midbrain organoids}, }
