Conclusions 1. Aspirin therapy cessation prior to a tooth extraction is futile 2. In comparison with suturing alone, mouth rinsing with TXA and gelatin sponge used with wound suturing provide better postprocedural hemostasis 3. With regard to correlation between severity of bleeding during extraction, bleeding time and the presence of inflammation of periodontal tissue may be observed, full mouth disinfection prior to extraction of a tooth should be performed, especially in patients with hemostatic disorders}, title={Tooth extraction and antithrombotic treatment with aspirin}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={tooth extraction, aspirin, surgical hemostasis}, }
