In MI, a negative correlation was found between symptom duration and Pfn1 concentration, as well as between impaired reperfusion and Pfn1 concentration. A positive correlation was found between Pfn 1 concentration on admission and CK and CKMB concentrations 24 hours post revascularization. There was no correlation between Pfn1 concentration and the assessed electrocardiographic and echocardiographic parameters. Pfn 1 concentration was lower in patients with diabetes, family history of CAD and multivessel disease.The results confirm Pfn 1 may be involved in the pathogenesis of ischemic heart disease. The relationship between symptom duration and Pfn1 concentration, as well as impaired reflow after revascularization and Pfn 1 concentration may be particularly useful. In the analysis of atherosclerosis risk factors, the negative relationships between diabetes and family history of CAD and Pfn 1 are particularly important.}, title={The role of profilin 1 in ischemic heart disease}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={profilin 1, ischemic heart disease, myocardial infarction}, }
