The aim of the study was to evaluate the possible effect of GERD on the onset of CRS and the results of surgical treatment of this sinus disease and to try to develop an algorithm for the management of patients with CRS by a GP.The research tool was a modified Krzeski questionnaire, while the questionnaire verifying the diagnosis of GERD was a Carlsson, being Reguła’s modification for the epidemiological studies. The analysis included 80 patients, both sexes, over 18 years of age. A group was identified - without symptomatic reflux disease and group B from GERD, in which symptoms persisted for a longer time as well as increased severity.
