Patients from test group (T) were submitted to PSPP, while those from control group (C) were not. Initially patients had performed spirometry, six-minute walk test (6MWT) and evaluation of anxiety. The same tests were repeated a day before the operation and on the 4-9th and 21-23th day after the operation. Additionally spirometry was performed on the 1st and 3rdday after the operation. A level of pain measured by visual analogue scale (VAS) was also assessed on the 1st , 3rd, 4-9th and 21-23th day after the operation.Results In group T 6MWT distance was considerably longer than in group C on the 4-9th and 21-23th day after surgery. In group C bigger dyspnea (p=0.049) and weariness (p<0001) after exercise during post-operative period were observed. In group T a test for homogeneity (p<0.005) revealed less intensive post-operative pain . In group T a lower level of fear before the operation (p=0.0019), a lower post-operative complication rate and shorter time of hospitalization was noticed (p=}, abstract={0.0495).Conclusions After this study the PSPP improves endurance during exercise, relieves post-operative pain and level of fear before the operation, reduces number of post-operative complications and time of hospitalization. The significant improvement of respiratory parameters wasn’t observed.}, title={The evaluation of utility of preoperative systematised pulmonological physiotherapy among non-small-cell lung cancer patients undergoing anatomical lung resection}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={preoperative systematised pulmonological physiotherapy, lung cancer}, }
