@misc{Kameczura_Tomasz_Influence_2013, author={Kameczura, Tomasz}, address={Kraków}, howpublished={online}, year={2013}, school={Wydział Lekarski}, language={pol}, abstract={Study group consisted of 60 hypertensive subjects (30 males, 30 females) (age 54,45±8,52 years) previously treated for at least 2 years, with well controlled hypertension, i.e. below 140/90 mmHg, using combined hypertensive therapy. Treatment has not been changed during study period. Study group was randomly subdivided into 2 subgroups. In the first group (G1) AIT was applied for 5 months (40 professional AIT sessions performed two times per week, for 50 minutes each time) accordingly to specially developed program. In the second, control group (G2) there were no training sessions, only medical advice to maintain physical activity accordingly to JNC hypertension guidelines. At the baseline visit and then after five months (final visit), in both groups office BP, PWV and applanation tonometry indexes using SphygmoCor® device and Complior® device were obtained, as well as plasma high selective C-reactive protein (hsCRP), asymetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) and albuminuria in the daily collection (ALB).Results: At the baseline visit there were no significant differences between G1 and G2 groups in the age, office SBP, DBP, PWV, applanation tonometry indexes, hsCRP and ALB. After five months of regular AIT in G1 office SBP (132,8±6,1 mmHg vs. 128,9 ±5,9 mmHg, p<0,05), DBP (80,5±4,1 mmHg vs. 77,8±2,3 mmHg, p<0,05), PWVComplior® (10,3±1,18 m/s vs. 9,26±1,11 m/s, p<0,05), PWVSphygmoCor®}, abstract={(8,37±1,03 mmHg vs. 7,48±0,97 mmHg, p<0.05). Moreover we noticed significant changes in applanation tonometry indexes, such as: central SBP, centaral PP, central and peripheral AIx (all p<0,05) and ADMA concentration in examined group on W2 visit. No significant changes were observed in G2 after AIT in plasma hsCRP concentration and urine ALB. In G2 group SBP, DBP, applanation tonometry indexes, PWV, hsCRP, ALB hasn’t changed between baseline and final visit.}, title={Influence of regular interval aerobic training on arterial stiffness and endothelial function in patients with arterial hypertension}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={physical training, arterial hypertension}, }
