Material and Methods: The study group were applied to the data obtained from 80 patients hospitalized in the Department of Obstetrics and Perinatology , University Hospital in Cracow during the period from 1 January 2013. May 31, 2013.Results and conclusions .1. Found higher levels of leptin and apelin concentrations and in the group of patients with symptoms of preterm labor in comparison with the control groups, which may contribute to severity of inflammation that causes the symptoms of preterm labor.2. Confirmed the lower levels of interleukin -6 and omentin in patients with excessive BMI as compared to the group of patients with normal BMI. .3.
