The stability of the most hydrophilic atenolol, less hydrophilic acébutolol and the most lipophilic propranolol has been investigated under the influence of temperature in acid and basic solutions of four concentrations. The chemical structures of the degradation products have been established by comparing Rf values, absorption spectra and ’H NMR. Correlation between kinetic or thermodynamic parameters describing degradation process of chosen betablockers and their polarity has been investigated. It was stated that with increasing polarity (atenolol, acébutolol, propranolol) the stability of these substances increases. Moreover, the problem of degradation of betablockers in solutions of different pH may be important for technology of producing drugs and for their effectiveness and safety of using.}, title={Densitometric quality evaluation of some betaadrenergic blocking agents}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={densitometry, kinetics, thin-layer chromatography, drug analysis}, }
