Determination of complete antioxidizing state (c.a.s) in erythrocytes of rheumatoid arthritis patients. 2. Determining the influence of systemic cryotherapy on c.a.s. changes in erythrocytes of examined patients taking into consideration some clinical features. 3. An attempt at selection of patients in whom cryogenic treatment triggers the greatest restoration of intracellular antioxidants supply. Material and methodology. 130 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (r.a.) treated at Physiotherapy Department of 5th Army Clinical Hospital - SP ZOZ have undergone prospective examinations. All the patients have undergone cryogenic treatment. Patients' material has been analysed taking into consideration certain clinical features: sex, age, duration and progress of the disease as well as c.a.s. changes in erythrocytes registered before and after completion of cryogenic treatment. In statistic analysis of results the programme SAS 6,03 has been used. Logical-statistic analysis of obtained results allowed to express the following conclusions: 1. In most patients (about 85%) the development of r.a. is accompanied by decrease of c.a.s. in erythrocytes below the reference value. 2. In most patients with r.a. systemic cryotherapy restores intracellular antioxidants supply. 3. In most patients who have undergone cryogenic therapy, the increase of antioxidants concentration}, abstract={depends on patients' sex, age, duration and progress of the disease. 4. Among patients with r.a. the best treatment effects obtained by way of systemic cryotherapy can be expected in women up to 49 years old, with progress of the disease no longer than 3 years and being in I or II stage.}, title={Influence of systemic cryiotherapy on complete antioxidizing state in erythrocytes of rheumatoid arthitis patients}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={antioxidizing state, systemic cryiotherapy}, }
