The following materials were chosen for the test : IPS Empress 2, In Ceram and Procera, out of which 141 samples were made. To make the samples the following techniques were used: for IPS Empress 2 samples – pressing technique, for InCeram samples – infusion technique and CAD/CAM technique for Procera system. Microhardness tests showed the highest values for Procera crowns amounting to μHV100 = 616, lower for InCeram porcelain μHV100= 592 and the lowest for IPS Empress 2 –μ HV100 = 547. During tension tests it has been discovered that Procera samples showed the greatest mean load resistance – the values were twice the values of the other two systems. The average failure load for the Procera samples was 2660,94 N. In microscopic tests of marginal fit the following results were obtained : for Procera crowns the value was 59,6025 μm, for Empress 2 – 79,45μm, and for InCeram – 103,85 μm. The joint analysis of all the technical parameters leads to the following general conclusion for clinical application : the crowns prepared in all three techniques (pressing, infusion, and CAD/CAM technique) using all three systems (Procera, In}, abstract={Ceram and IPS Empress 2) all fulfill clinical requirements to an equal degree to be used in all segments of the teeth ridge.}, title={Comparative analysis of all-ceramic crown systems on the basis of mechanical and structural tests of prosthetic crowns}, type={Praca doktorska}, keywords={all-ceramic crown, mechanical properties of crowns}, }
