The influence of the biomass extracts from in vitro culture of B. monnieri towards blocking the migration of prostate cancer cells was demonstrated.In addition, a protective effect of the extracts from the biomass of B. monnieri in vitro cultures on the viability of neurons has been demonstrated and for the first time, it was shown that they may impair the process of apoptosis. Moreover, the antioxidant effect of the tested extracts was confirmed which may contribute to the development of a promising neuroprotective procedures in the future."]
