Search for: [Abstract = "Uterine leiomyomas occur in about 1,5\-7,5% cases in pregnant women. Apart from their universality dependency between patogenetic mechanisms and clinico\-epidemiologic effects is still unexplained. Pregnancy complicated by uterine leiomyomas is affected by many complications not only during the whole course of pregnancy but also during the labour and puerperium. The aims of this work is to compare\:\-the course of pregnancy complicated by uterine myomas to physiological pregnancy,\- the labour complicated by uterine myomas to physiological labour,\-to estimate condition of newbornsˇ¦ mothers with leiomyomas inpuerperium. Research enclose 102 pregnant women with uterine leiomyomas and 90 pregnant women with physiological pregnancy. During analisys I assumed parameters such as\:„« demographic data,„« previous maternity,„« actual course of pregnancy,„« course of labour,„« characteristic of myomas,„« general condition of newborn,„« evaluation of puerperium. Conclusions\: \-the age of patients in group of uterine myomas was higher,\-in the first group there were more additional diseases complicated pregnancy as well as labour,\-caesarean section was performed more frequently in the group of myomas,\-blood lost during labour in the group of myomas was higher moreoverduring caesarean section patients with leiomyomas lost much more blood comparing to natural way labour,\-the average newbornsˇ¦ score in Apgar scale in group of uterine myomas was lower,\-stronger influence on the lenght of pregnancy has age of women rather than the size of myoma. On the other hand stronger impact on weight of newbornhas the size of leiomyoma rather than age of the mother."]
