Search for: [Abstract = "The study was carried out on 50 adult cadavers \(18 female and 32 male\). During autopsy measurements were performed and material for immunohistochemical study was obtained. Topography and macroscopic structure of hypogastric nerves and visceral branches of the inferior hypogastric plexus was evaluated, based on dissection study performed with operation microscope. Character of the nerve fibers was estimated based on immunohistochemical studies of the hypogastric nerves, topography of inferior hypogastric plexuses and their visceral branches. We have found different organization of two plates of the inferior hypogastric plexus than reported in the literature. Immunostaining enabled evaluation of the vesical and deferential nerves. The constitution of the prostatic, utero\-vaginal and ovarian plexuses was defined. Within the course of certain visceral branches some ganglion cells were found. Anastomoses between two inferior hypogastric plexuses was studied. Character of the fibers studied is adjacent to visceral innervation \(adrenergic and cholinergic\)."]
