A study group consisted of 104 adults patients \(106 eyes\) referred between 2000 \- 2005 to the Chair of Ophthalmology, Medical College Jagiellonian University in Krakow with suspected or diagnosed intraocular tumor. Clinical diagnosis of intraocular tumor based on the slit lamp examination, ophthalmoscopy and ultrasonography, additional examinations \(AF, ICG, CT and MR\) and histopathological findings. The examinations and performed statistical tests covered\: correlation analyses between clinical diagnosis and Doppler ultrasonography findings\; evaluation of the usefulness of eyeball Doppler ultrasonography in establishing tumor type as benign\/malignant or neoplastic\/non\-neoplastic\; establishing the diagnostic accuracy of modern Doppler imaging methods in the assessment of intraocular tumor vascularization related to ICG\; correlation analysis between the type, degree of tumor vascularization and flow parameters as related to the established diagnosis, size, shape and location of examined pathologies. In 99 \(93.34%\) of cases Doppler ultrasonography diagnosis correlated with clinical findings. The accuracy of Doppler ultrasonography in differentiating neoplastic\/non\-neoplastic pathologies was 98.11%, malignant\/benign lesions 92.86% and for ICG was 97.57% for Color D"]
