The study was carried out in the Department of General and Oncological Surgery of Frederic Chopin Clinical Provincial Hospital No. 1 in Rzeszow. 136 patients with microscopic examination which confirmed breast cancer or melanoma who underwent surgery with sentinel node biopsy were included in the study.
