They were treated both with intensive group \(180 x 45\-minute sessions or 120 x 60\-minute sessions\) and individual \(12 x 45\-minute sessions\) psychodynamic \(or psychodynamic with elements of cognitive\) psychotherapy in the Psychotherapy Department at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in 2008\-2011.Results of logistic regression showed that the coexistence of emotional and physical abuse in the patients’ biographies was significant, independent predictor of psychotherapy outcome and was associated with increased risk of treatment failure\: lack of symptomatic improvement or drop\-out by 69%."]
