Search for: [Abstract = "The aim of the study is to assess the quality of life of adolescents and the relationship between its dimensions, and to indicate demographic, socio\-economic, general health, and lifestyle determinants of the quality of life. The study was carried out among 804 students from 10 schools from the Małopolska \(1st and 3rd grade of junior high school and 2nd grade of upper secondary school\). The quality of life was measured by Polish version of the KIDSCREEN\-52 questionnaire and the author’s questionnaire. In the analysis of the quality of life crude and standardized \(for European population\) were used. To assess the relationship between the dimensions the Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient and structural equations models were used. Assessment of quality of life determinants was based on multivariate logistic regression models. The adolescents assessed their quality of life as average –the School Environment was assessed the lowest. In comparison to peers from Europe quality of life was lower in almost all dimensions. Girls assessed their quality of life lower than boys. The strongest correlation was foundbetween Moods and Emotions and Psychological Well\-being. Female sex, age \(class\), inappropriate family relationships, bad family financial situation, low physical activity, and lack of friends outside schoolwere the determinants of low quality of life."]
