Search for: [Abstract = "Systemic lupus erythematosus \(SLE\) is an autoimmune disease with complex ethiopathology. Disorder of autoregulation of the immune system underlies SLE pathology. Th17 cells participation in development of SLE and protective activity of Treg cells has been proven. Nevertheless, there are not clear research data concerning the relationship between Treg cells and Th17 cells and cytokines participating in autoagressive diseases such as SLE. The aim of this project was to evaluate of function and quantitative changes of T regulatory cells and Th17 effector cells and cytokines such as IL\-10, TGF\-β1 and IL\-17. Moreover a relationship between suppressor T lymphocytes and effector T cells \(axis of lymphocytes between Treg and Th17\) in SLE flare was evaluated. 26 patients with SLE were qualified for the study and divided into a group with SLE flare \(SLEDAI > 5 points\) and in remission. Collected lymphocytes from venous blood were evaluated by flow cytometry, cytokines were analyzed in ELISA tests."]
