Search for: [Abstract = "Present doctoral dissertation studies were aimed to investigate the influence of suppressive TCD8\+ lymphocyte\-derived exosomes on immune activity of murine macrophages \(Mf\).Treatment of Mf with suppressive exosomes resulted in the significant enhancement of reactive oxygen species generation\; decrease of antibody\-releasing splenic B cell number with the alteration of IgM\/IgG titres ratio\; alleviation of contact sensitivity \(CHS\) response in hapten\-labeled Mf recipients and inhibition of CHS effector cells proliferation, while secretion of nitric oxide and cytokines by cultured exosome\-treated Mf and expression of their surface markers seemed to be unaffected. Noteworthy, transferred CHS reaction was suppressed only when isolated T effector lymphocytes were treated with regulatory exosomes in the presence of Mf.Mf influenced by assayed exosomes express tolerogenic phenotype and mediate antigen\-specific suppression of cellular as well as humoral immune response, probably by the release of secondary exosomes. Present results may possibly be translated to future therapy of various disorders associated with Mf enhanced inflammatory activity."]
