Materials and methods. The study group consisted of 133 students \(92 women and 41 men\) aged from 17 to 19 years old. The first stage assessed the health status of the group, anthropometric measurements, the physical fitness \- Eurofit test, and determination of the antioxidant potential \(FRAP, SOD, GPX, GST, GSH, MDA\) of the blood samples. The second stage of the study, a year after the initial examination, included the re\-evaluation of the same parameters as during the first stage. Results. In the first stage, only two person \(1 woman and 1 man\) of the 133 surveyed students, completed all the tests at least on the 50 percentiles level. In the second stage, the number of students who performed all the exercises above the 50 percentile level significantly increased to 37 \(p<0.0001\)\; in 22 women \(p=0.00004\) and 15 men \(p=0.00018\). In the scope of anthropometric parameters, among women, an increase of waist circumference \(from 69"]
