The assessment was performed three times\: at the beginning of the care and after three and six months of the stay in a given care providing institution. The study included persons aged above 60 years with disorders of cognitive functions. The study group comprised 80 inhabitants of the long – term care institution and 80 inhabitants of the social welfare home.
