The stability of the examined fluoroquinolones has been investigated in acidic and basic solutions in the presence and without chosen metal ions. In the degradation process of ciprofloxacine and norfloxacine one degradation product occurs contrary to flumequine. The investigations revealed that metal ions increase degradation process of ciprofloxacine and norfloxacine to a different degree, that depends on the metal ion, temperature, alkaline or acid reaction and incubation time. The photodegradation of ciprofloxacine m solid phase under the UV radiation in the presence and without metal ions has been investigated and two degradation products appeared during the experiment. It was shown that metal ions increased the degradation process of ciprofloxacine compared to the substance irradiated without metal ions. Based on the obtained results of degradation process of ciprofloxacine and norfloxacine in solutions and during the UV irradiation of ciprofloxacine in solid phase reaction order was established and kinetic parameters k, t0,1 i t0,5 w"]
