Reference group of 40 women surgically treated for infertility \(n = 21\) and pelvic organ prolapse disorders \(n = 19\). Group of patients with endometriosis and a reference group were divided into subgroups depending on the phases of the menstrual cycle. Cycle phase was determined by\: measuring the serum concentration of estradiol, progesterone and follicle stimulating hormone \(FSH\), knowing the date of last menstrual period, the average length of menstrual cycle and the result of ultrasound examination of ovaries and endometrium, in women after hysterectomy on the basis of histopathological examination of the endometrium."]
