The need for an individualized diagnostic and therapeutic approach is the element connecting all the described groups of patients. The proposed diagnostic algorithms are a significant help in clinical practice. The relative rarity of this type of disorder and insufficient knowledge necessitate further research in order to determine the optimal management.
